Over 40,000 foreign nationals plans to visit china without visaIn a previously held meeting of Capital Tourism Development Joint Council, the main focus point was made on 72-hour visa-free entry arrival policy.

As per the negotiations done at the meeting, around 40,000 nationals from nearly 51 overseas nations using a visa option, which represents 1% of total number of travelers to Beijing in previous year. The Joint Council conferences took place after the significant contracts that were signed between major Western nations and China in late 2014.

The U.S. Foreign Minister, John Kerry has informed the beneficiaries of a freshly launched 10-year U.S. visa for Chinese nationals in November. The U.S. visa extension was a part of a generally deal made by the two major superpowers.

The launch of SBS UK (Select Business Scheme UK) was promulgated by the CBBC (China-Britain Business Council). The introduction of the Select Business Scheme UK means the simplified visa process for Chinese business individuals i.e. only three certificates are needed such as, an invitation letter, an application form and employment letter which are required for submission.

The Director of Beijing Tourism Industry Development Joint Council Office as well as the Municipal Tourism Commission, Song Yu, offered latest information on the financial value of tourism in China stating that in the initial three quarters of 2014, the total number of travelers were admitted to Beijing reached 194 million, increase by 3.6% year-by-year.
