The government of Australia has seen an increasing demand for skilled worker positions in certain fields. An emerging agency called Australian Workforce and Productivity, predicated that Australia requires around 2.8million skilled workers to work in their industries by 2015.

Several industries such as health care, mining, engineering and construction are looking forward for skilled migrates to work in their industries. Due to rise in emigrant business of about 60% in Australia and New Zealand, the number is expected to rise during the remaining quarter.

Considering the lack of skilled workers the Australian government has wished to augment the intake of emigrants from 190,000 in 2013/14 to 220,000 during 2014/2015 to balance the deficiency of skilled workers in the country.

In the survey carried out by the Australian Industry Group, it is reported that around 68% of respondents in the segment of construction faced difficulty in recruiting the skilled workers in the six months.

To manage the existing scenario and to ease the path for the future growth, an enhanced skilled immigration program whilst up-skilling the current workforce, would be helpful to manage the situations, said spokesperson.

Spokesman further noted that skilled labour from UK could be preferred for the economic growth of the country. Australia is a land known for better career and employment opportunities. Aspirants have an added advantage to make a better career and also to lead a life of quality.
